Meet Our Chamber Team
Welcome! My name is Alicia and I am the Executive Director here at the Niles Chamber of Commerce & Industry. I was born and raised in the Northern suburbs and after some time away I am excited to be back home! Prior to chamber life I worked for Girl Scouts in membership and before that I homeschooled my children.
I have a MA in Psychology from Loyola University and after working in Market research for 5 years I chose to stay home, raise a family and homeschool two fabulous children! I returned to the workforce in the membership department of Girl Scouts and spent the last 3 year as the ED of the Frankfort Chamber.
Volunteering has been part of my fabric since I was young, so working with chamber volunteers is not new for me. I have volunteered with Girl Scouts, Community Theater, dog clubs, schools, church and everything in between.
What I love most about the Chamber world is the opportunity I have to help local business people make connections and build relationships with one another. In today’s world of online, social media, tweeting, and blogging, the strongest connections are still formed face to face with a handshake. I am here to remind people how important that handshake is and to facilitate the time and opportunity for those connections to happen.
What is possible after that handshake is limitless!
