Dollars for Scholars

The 2022 Scholarship Winners are:

Kate Bachman–I will be attending the University of Virginia, where I plan on studying Environmental Science and Public Policy. Long term, I hope to attend law school and pursue Environmental Law as a career. I am so thankful to have received this scholarship, as it will help me study as an out-of-state student at a university that is both close to the nation’s capital and well-known in my area of study.

Stanislaw Swiatek–  I will be attending Northern Illinois University for Political Science and possibly Spanish too. Receiving this scholarship allows me to continue my academic career with less financial worry after college, something that I am very grateful for.

The Niles Chamber Dollars for Scholars Charter is an all-volunteer committee dedicated to our youth. In the past seventeen years this program has awarded over $175,000 in scholarships to area students.
