The Niles Chamber Dollars for Scholars Charter is an all volunteer committee dedicated to
our youth. In the past eight years this program has awarded over $64,000 in scholarships to
area students. For the 2009-10 academic year, four $1,000 scholarships were awarded to graduating
eighth grade students and four $3,000 scholarships were awarded to graduating high school seniors.
Applications were judged on service to the community and school, response to an essay,
awards and honors, school transcripts, and letters of recommendation. Congratulations to the following
