Niles Chamber of Commerce Scholarship Information

The Niles Chamber Dollars for Scholars Charter is now accepting applications
for our 2009 Scholarship Program.
For the 2008-09 academic year, three $1,000 High School scholarships will be awarded
to graduating eighth grade students and three $3,000 College Scholarships will be awarded to graduating seniors in high school.
Applications are judged on service to the community and school, response to an essay, letters of recommendation, school transcripts and test scores.
In the past six years this program has awarded over $36,000 in scholarships to area students.
To apply to must meet ONE of the following criteria:
1. You are a Niles resident
2. Parent is an employee of a Chamber Member company
3. You are an employee of a Chamber Member company
Applications must be received in the Chamber office by Friday, February 27, 2009. Absolutely no exceptions.

annual spring scholarship raffle.

5th Prize: $500
Only 250 tickets are sold. Tickets are $100 each. Buy five tickets and receive the sixth ticket free.
The more tickets you buy, the greater chance of winning. drawing will be held on
Saturday, April 25, 2009 at the Niles Chamber Night of Roses - A Tribute to Home Grown Success.
